Tulum is a place of natural wonders, art, music, and constant celebration of life.
In Riviera Maya, the end of the year and the arrival of the winter also coincide with the beginning of the peak season. This is the most vibrant time to visit Tulum and the period when most events and festivals season are concentrated.
It begins with the Christmas Holidays: the most wonderful time of the year, although not exactly a typical "winter wonderland.” Christmas in Tulum is unique, to say the least. We decorate palm trees instead of pines and build sandmen instead of snowmen. For a change, why not gather with your family on the beach, sipping frozen margaritas instead of eggnog?
And for those sticking around until New Year’s Eve: the fun has just begun.
With Tulum as a background, New Year’s resolutions have never been easier to commit to. Nothing inspires us and makes us more grateful than its white sandy beach and turquoise blue water. From December 31st onwards, each day is an excuse to celebrate life and dance the night away.

Ever heard of Zamna Festival?
We bet you have. In recent years, the Festival has become the meeting point for thousands of music fans, bringing together the best artists of the moment in the Mexican Caribbean ( www.zamnafestival.com ).
Born in 2017 and named after the Mayan creator god “Itzamna” (or, Zamná), this music festival has become the worldwide famous epicenter of electronic music. This winter, events go from December 31st to January 14th.
